This is the first appointment, (please bring shorts), which includes postural and joint assessment and incorporates many different techniques to target specific injuries, restricted movement and unidentified pain. 
This treatment is very specific for those who may have been injured through sport, work or recreational activities or those who are or have been in pain with no known cause.

Please do not book a follow up session for your first appointment as there is not adequate time to carry out the assessment which is vital for your recovery and treatment plan. If anyone books a follow up as their first appointment it will be cancelled and you will be notified to book the correct option. This is to ensure that you are receiving appropriate time and attention that is needed to address your needs. 

Sports therapy/massage- initial assessment PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION 

All massages are completely tailored to the clients needs on the day and could include a range of techniques such as: Sports therapy, deep tissue, Swedish or aromatherapy.
A consultation will be conducted at the start of every treatment to ascertain the best approach to meet your needs. 

Back massage (EXTENDED 45 MINUTES)

This massage is not full body but area specific to target localised points of tightness.

Deep tissue massage (1 hour area specific)

The session will start with a massage of the tissues prior to insertion of acupuncture needles. 
Please note that this is medical acupuncture or 'dry needling' and is used specifically on areas of tension or knots, this is not chinese acupuncture which focuses on energy systems.
You will be required to sign a consent form when you arrive, this is separate to your online massage consent form.


Medical acupuncture 

This is a follow up session for after you have had your initial assessment and is not to be used for your first appointment. Please book initial assessment if it is the first time we are looking into an ailment, or if you have been coming already but have started with a new ailment/ injury.

Pregnancy massage 

A longer massage incorporating face and scalp massage.

Pregnancy deluxe massage 

This 1 hour treatment includes a 45 minute hot stone back massage with a 15 minute scalp massage using an aromatherapy essential oil specially selected to your needs. 

All massages are completely tailored to the clients needs on the day and could include a range of techniques such as: Sports therapy, deep tissue, Swedish or aromatherapy.
A consultation will be conducted at the start of every treatment to ascertain the best approach to meet your needs. 

Stress buster

This extended hot stone massage allows for more time to be concentrated on all areas of the body. 

The heat from hot stones penetrates the muscle fibres on a much deeper level than standard effleurage allowing the muscles to relax and be better manipulated.
Any technique can accompany a hot stone massage whether that be aromatherapy (gentle and relaxing with lymphatic drainage using essential oils), Swedish (mild to moderate in intensity), or deep tissue/ Sports therapy (more intense with firm pressure and muscle manipulation) techniques.

Deluxe hot stone (90 minutes full body)

Deep tissue is an intense and firm massage using knuckles and elbows to thoroughly manipulate tired, tense and sore muscles including knots. Perfect for athletes or those who carry out labour intensive tasks that effect the body.

Deep tissue full body (90 minutes)

Indian head massage involves the client being seated and leaning onto the bed at which point the scalp, back, face and shoulders are massaged with or without an essential oil added. 
This massage is purely for relaxation.

Radio-frequency and microneedling combined is a powerful treatment for tightening fine lines and wrinkles on the face and body.
Both treatments break down the collagen and cause new and stronger collagen to form.

A brow wax and tint requires a patch test carried out no less than 24 hours prior to your appointment so please ensure this is booked. Patch tests are compulsory regardless of if you have been tested before elsewhere or if you have your hair coloured often. This is for your protection and an industry requirement.

You do not need another patch test if you have had one carried out by myself unless a new brand of product is to be used.
