Monarch Studios is a boutique, one-on-one hair experience based in Levin. Run by experienced stylist Kat Hirini, I offer personalised colour, cuts, and care in a calm, private salon setting. Toner is used after lightening your hair to cancel out any unwanted yellow/brassy tones and bring beautiful shine to your hair. During this service is where we can create your desired results and can also add in specific colours. (Soft pinks, violets, Coppers etc)

We can use toners in between appointments to refresh your colour and give you a refreshed glossy look.

Full Head Foils

Foils applied top half of head and front hairline, including-
Option 1: The bottom underneath hairline for when hair is tied up.
Option 2: Foils applied slightly lower then occipital bone

3/4 Head Foils

Foils applied to top half section of hair including front hairline.

1/2 Head Foils

Foils are 'scattered' around the head to add dimension / highlights throughout the hair without adding too much colour overall.

Full Balayage

This service is for the client with 8-10 weeks of regrowth and wanting a refresh maintenance.
Must of had a Full Balayage in pass appointments.

Balayage Freshen Up

Wet Balayage is a technique to create brighter/ bolder blonde on the ends, for already existing blonde clients. - Usually this service is added after 'Full Head Foils' or 'Balayage'. This service is when lightener is applied freehand to pre-washed, wet hair.

This is a beautiful 10 minute treatment that is completely customizable and tailor made for your specific hair needs. Using Deep conditioning masks- Relaxation massage- Hot towel. 
Relieving tension- promoting relaxation and soft supple hair. 
This gorgeous treatment can be added to the end of any service.

Complex Blow Wave- Wash, blown out with round brush/ Dyson & pinned to cool, for a voluminous bouncy finish, option to use hot tools if desired.

Bridal Hair

These service's are for special occasion / formal hair ups. 
If you are after your hair being styled up using a mixture of products, hot tools, and pins your in the right place.

Basic Hair Up- Styling with hot tools and pinning to desired results.

Complex Hair Up- Styling with hot tools and pinning- including extra techniques like braids, twists etc. More time required. May include a 30 minute trail before specific appointment to cover a basic foundation, if required.
