AFTER CARE

SANIDERM - Leave on for 3-5 days, UNLESS: Redness, heat or swelling (remove very gently in the shower, wash well then let it air out.
ABSORBANT BANDAGE - Remove after 24 hours, gently clean with a mild soap and your fingertips. Pat dry with a clean paper towel and let air dry.  There is no need to re bandage.

Gently wash then pat dry with a clean paper towel once each day until healed completely.
Do not apply any cream for the first 3 days (or 24 hours after the Saniderm is removed)
After showering let the area dry out completely before applying cream
When applying a cream use very sparingly and gently rub it in completely 
Avoid all friction, exposure to dirt, dust and pet dander/fur
Do not submerge the area in water. No bath, pool, hottub until the area is completely healed (3 weeks). Showers are fine.
No sun exposure or sunscreen for 4 weeks.

*If a silicone product has been recommended as part of healing, it is safe to start that treatment after 14 days.
