My experience at Furr tastic was great , we were enrolled in the Puppy course and we love the results from the training ! Our puppy was taught sit , stay , leave it / drop it , biting control , proper walking when on leash and overall obedience training. Our 4 month old loves the training session as it’s always fun and engaging for him so he’s never bored or not focused on the task at hand. We would recommend to anyone looking for training!

Puppy Obedience package ( 2 months to 7 months)

Positive reinforcement, like treats or praise, is key to motivating dogs during training.

Basic obedience package (7 months and up)

This is if you need help with getting your puppy/ dog use to the bathroom outside by communicating it to you in a way that best suites your family. As well as offering to board at my home until they have it down pack. Price starts at $150+
150 gets you 3 sessions in a week for training.  
I recommend at least 2 weeks of training to make sure they really got it before I leave you to do it on your own.

This service will allow your dog to be in a crate comfortably with out all that crying and screaming and it will help create the foundation for using the bathroom outside and learning to communicate with you if they need to use the restroom.

Kennel and potty training 

Board and train

If you can't pick your dog up from daycare you have to pay for the overnight fee. Also if you need someone to watch your dog for a day this is the service for you.

Overnight stay 

This can be added on to a daycare service a overnigt stay or just a single service 

Bath for short haired dogs

Doggie daycare is only for the day I close at 7pm which means you have to be here at 7 pm. If not a late charge will ve added to your bill.

In this consultation i will be meeting you and your dog so I can get a feel of how you function with your dog and how they function with you. As well as me getting to read your dog and understand them a little bit better so I can see what works best for them with training.

Consultation 

This service is for if your dog needs their nails cut or grinded. Cutting a dogs nails will leave th still kind of sharp. But if we grind them they will be smooth so you won't get scratched up to bad.

Nail Trims or grind

This training is for dogs who typically come from homes where they probably were hit. This will help you slowly with positive reinforcement get the dog to be okay with being touched in any manner with no fear or reactivity to hands.

Touch is ok 

Impulse control training for dogs involves teaching them to resist temptations and delay gratification, improving their overall behavior and safety. It's a crucial skill, especially for puppies and dogs prone to jumping, grabbing things, or rushing out doors. Techniques include positive reinforcement, teaching commands like "Leave It" and "Wait," and using games that encourage patience. 

Impulse control

Leash training a dog involves teaching them to walk politely on a leash without pulling, using positive reinforcement and gradually increasing the difficulty of walks.

Intermediate dog training builds upon basic obedience, focusing on more complex commands and behaviors, such as "heel," "place," and "leave it," while also improving reliability and responsiveness in distracting environments. It's geared towards dogs who have already mastered basic commands and are ready to take their training to the next level. 
Building on Basic Obedience:
Intermediate training assumes your dog already knows basic commands like sit, down, stay, and come. 
More Complex Commands:
You'll work on advanced commands like heel, place (staying in a designated spot), leave it (ignoring distractions), and off (leaving an area). 
Improved Reliability and Responsiveness:
Training focuses on making your dog's obedience reliable in various situations, even with distractions. 
Distraction Management:
Intermediate training often involves introducing distractions to test your dog's obedience.

Advanced dog training builds upon basic obedience and introduces more complex behaviors and precision work, including off-leash control, distance commands, and extended duration stays under distractions. It's designed for dogs that have already mastered fundamental commands like sit, stay, and come. 
Off-Leash Control:
Training your dog to remain obedient even when off-leash, which requires building a strong bond and consistent reinforcement. 
Distance Commands:
Teaching your dog to respond to commands from a distance, gradually increasing the separation between you and your dog. 
Proofing Commands:
Training your dog to obey commands in various environments and with distractions, ensuring consistent responsiveness. 
Extended Duration Stays:
Practicing stays for longer durations under distractions to build focus and self-control. 
Advanced Tricks:
Teaching more complex tricks like crawling, leaping, or balancing treats on their nose.
