Located within Mangata Wellness, ASHIbodywork emphasizes holistic wellness and provides trauma-informed therapeutic bodywork services. The practice focuses on relieving acute and chronic pain through a variety of specialized techniques, including Ashiatsu, Neuromuscular Therapy, JFB Myofascial Release, Corrective Exercise & Movement, and Breathwork Facilitation. Individual sessions are available both online and in-person at Mangata Wellness. These sessions are specifically designed to guide you on a 75-minute journey of self-discovery, allowing you to release tension, stress, and trauma from your body. Throughout the session, you will be supported by music and my voice. Each session begins with time for discussion, setting intentions and ends with reflection/journaling and grounding before you leave. In-person sessions also include supportive bodywork to aid in restoring healthy breathing patterns and releasing any energy blockages.

Experience the best of what your therapist has to offer! This signature massage is an expression of your therapists’ entire repertoire. Over the course of two hours, your therapist will employ a variety of techniques  unique to each therapist, such as Swedish and deep tissue, Ashiatsu, trigger point, craniosacral work, Thai inspired stretching & cupping .   Our signature massage is great for clients seeking help with mobility, training for sporting events or who just feel the need to be stretched along with deep body work. Whether you custom tailor your signature massage to include a few or all of these modalities, you can be sure you’ll leave feeling refreshed and renewed.

If you are pregnant, no matter what stage, please be aware we can only book you for a pre-natal massage, so that you will be scheduled with a specially trained therapist. The purpose of massage during pregnancy has often received a variety of responses from the health community in regards to safety. Modern research is proving that massage can be a very instrumental ingredient in women’s prenatal care and should be given due consideration.

Our therapists are trained in Prenatal Massage. We utilize a unique support cushion suitable for any stage of pregnancy and customize each session to your individual needs. Pure essential oils and warm steam towels are included in the session ensuring the ultimate pampering experience for the mother to be!
