Red light therapy uses low levels of red and infrared light to target your skin and cells. It’s often used to treat signs of aging and sun damage. Red light therapy is non-invasive and it delivers enough energy to stimulate a response from the body within cell function to promote healing and stimulates collagen production, which helps improve skin elasticity. It helps improve skin health, optimizes sleep, and alleviates muscle and joint pain.

Skin absorbs the infrared and red light to transform it into energy -increasing production of mitochondria, your cells’ energy sources – to stimulate healing by improving cell function and repair, through cellular regeneration. According to biologists, they established that cells exposed to near-infrared light from LEDs grow 150-200% faster than cells not stimulated by such light.


Red Light Therapy

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses the Procell Therapies microneedling device containing very fine, high-quality needles to create controlled micro-injures in the superficial layer of the skin for the purpose of rejuvenation. These controlled micro-injuries trigger the skin’s natural repair processes, stimulating collagen, elastin production and other building blocks for healthy skin. Helps improve texture, reduce scarring, and diminish the look of discolouration. This microneedling device is exceptionally different as it uses a linear stamping method that creates uniformly distributed microinjuries in the skin without causing tearing or dragging. Sonophoresis and iontophoresis are both techniques that use physical means to deliver substances through the skin:

Sonophoresis: Uses ultrasound to enhance the delivery of molecules through the skin by creating a massaging effect to increase dermal permeability, stimulate blood flow, and reduce inflammation.

At Skincare Aesthetics, a range of medical grade chemical peels are offered, that treat various skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, acne, texture and skin tone. Chemical peels encourage exfoliation by sloughing off dead skin cells, forcing your skin to replenish them with healthy, new cells. In other words, cell turnover will be increased. Healthier skin will be revealed and benefits from skincare products will be maximized.

A customized acid peel is applied to your skin by certified aesthetician for a specified amount of time. The stronger the acid and the longer application period, determines the depth and downtime of the peel. Peels are applied to remove the most superficial layer of skin, revealing the healthier and smoother skin underneath.

Chemical Peel Consult - consult needs to be booked prior to treatment

This peel is generally stronger compared to AHA or BHA peels and penetrates deeper into the skin, typically requiring a longer recovery period. It combines several acid compounds for an all-in-one treatment addressing common skin concerns – improves acne, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, brightens skin, as well as lightens discolouration. Similar to the well-known Vi Peel in contents and effectiveness, this peel seeps into your skin and boosts collagen while sloughing off the outer most layer of skin. After healing, the appearance of younger, glowing skin will be revealed.

The Sensi (Mandelic) Peel contains mandelic acid (alpha hydroxy acid [AHA]) which is derived and extracted from bitter almonds. However, it differs from glycolic and lactic acids in that its molecules are larger and do not penetrate the skin as deeply. As a result, there is less overall irritation when compared with other AHAs, which is beneficial for those who have sensitive skin that is prone to inflammation. Enzyme treatment contains both, potent papaya and pumpkin fruit enzymes, that are powerful, anti-inflammatory antioxidants rich in vitamins A, C, E, and Beta Carotene – enabling them to digest keratin proteins to help promote the natural exfoliation process – ultimately improving the appearance of fine lines and softening skin. This enzyme peel exfoliates and increases cell turnover while simultaneously nourishing the skin to reveal a polished, hydrated complexion. The best part of an enzyme peel is they are gentle enough for sensitive skin and require zero downtime. During treatment you may notice a tingling sensation and some warmth from the treatment.
