Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation which encourages and promotes healing through gentle touch. Its name derives from the Japanese words

Rei (Universal) and Ki (Life force energy) therefore, is a spiritually guided life force energy that flows through all living things.

It was in the early 1900s whereby Mikao Usui developed the Reiki practice and is now successfully used by many worldwide.

The practice aids in the healing, helping you to become energetically balanced physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually

How does reiki work?

Reiki works by treating the whole you, body, mind, and spirit. The practitioner will use their hands allowing the energy to flow through them and be delivered to your body, helping to improve the flow and balance of your energy to support healing and stimulate your body's natural healing ability.

Meditation is a practice and one which takes time and consistency to get comfortable with as the mind is a complex place. We use meditation to train our awareness and learn how to manage a healthy sense of perspective. This practice teaches you how to observe thoughts and feelings without judgment, helping you to better understand them. There might be setbacks along the way and THAT IS OK! It is normal, keep showing up and you will get there

Meditation can produce a deep state of relaxation and allows for a tranquil mind. Whilst in this state, during the meditation you will focus your attention and eliminate the whirlwind of jumbled thoughts that crowd your mind.

The sessions will allow you to unwind your mind and return home relaxed and refreshed

What is crystal healing?

Crystal healing is an alternative medicine technique that taps into our natural healing energy. The crystal acts as a conduit for healing, allowing positive, healing energy to flow into the body bringing balance back to mind, body, and spirit. Each crystal or stone holds its own special energy within and around itself, this is placed on your body in alignment with the chakra points allowing the crystals to bring balance to your life and mind. The crystal will align to different areas of your life, with their shape and colour as well as their type.

What happens during a crystal healing session?

Once you are relaxed with your eyes closed, different crystals will be selected suited to your needs, and they may be placed over your body, around your body or you may be asked to hold them in your hand. The crystals will be left in place for a certain amount of time, as you lay comfortably breathing deeply and simply relaxing.

What is Grief Counselling?

Grief counselling, also known as bereavement counselling, is a support therapy to help you with your feelings of grief through an extremely difficult time in your life. Grief is one of the hardest things to happen to us in our lives. 

This therapy allows you a safe space to talk about the aspect within your life of who/what you have lost, talk about the situation/circumstance (death) and how this is affecting you and how you are coping.

What is distance reiki?

Distance reiki is used to cross any distance in time or space. It allows practitioners to clear blockages and perform reiki on someone who is not physically present transmitting energy beyond physical contact

How does distance reiki work?

As energy does not have a distance limit, Distance reiki can be sent to anyone, anywhere and at any time. You practitioner will administer distance reiki by transferring the energy using thoughts and intentions to move the energy into your spiritual, emotional, mental and even physical being.

If you would like to add an extra element of healing to your treatment, Reiki with crystals will offer an additional aid in helping to release emotional, mental, or spiritual blocks.

What happens during a reiki with crystal healing session?

At your first appointment, you’ll meet with your practitioner, have an initial consultation

A reiki treatment with crystal healing usually lasts approximately 1 hour. During this time, you will lay on a massage table fully clothed, your practitioner will gently place their hands on or just above your body in specific energy locations around your body, using a series of 12-15 hand positions.

In addition, crystals may be placed on or around your body or you may be asked to hold a crystal. This will help offer you a calming effect and stimulate healing.
