Reflexology is based on the principle that reflex points on the soles, tops of side of feet correspond to areas throughout the body. Working on these reflex points using specialized massage techniques  helps correct imbalances throughout the body. Your feet will be cleansed at the start of treatment, wax with essential oils specifically chosen for you and then a variety of techniques will be used, adapted to suit your individual needs. During treatment you will be invited to relax on a massage couch. Most sessions are 45 minutes.

Tailored Treatment 

Reiki is a gentle, non-intrusive treatment that is said to help rebalance the whole person in mind, body and spirit balance to mind, body and soul.  You will remain fully clothed. You will be invited to lie on the treatment couch or can sit in a chair. The Therapist will take a moment to enter a calm state and gently place their hands on or near you remaining there for some minutes before moving on to the next position. You may feel warmth, tingling and deep relaxation.

Potential benefits may include feelings of deep relaxation, improved mood and sense of self, a general sense of health and well-being.
We can add Reiki Drumming or a guided meditation if preferred.

Advanced Facial Reflexology

NEPIP is an advanced treatment protocol that is exclusively taught to level 5 practitioners. It is specific to the body’s response to stress and takes into account psychological studies of behaviour and health. It’s a particularly useful protocol to utilise with people who are stressed or anxious.

I am also trained in Reflexology Lymph Drainage which was developed to focus on reducing swelling in Lymphodema in the arm following treatment for breast cancer. This is also now thought to be useful in other conditions including Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME allergies, rheumatoid arthritis, other inflammatory auto-immune disorders, pregnancy and premenstrual fluid retension. Aromatherapy Massage with Facial 

Aromatherapy aims to treat the whole person by helping to restore the harmony of mind, body and spirit. Working with the pure properties of plants, using their essential oils in a natural, complementary therapy which is said to help improve both physical and emotional well-being. During treatment towels will be used to ensure your modesty. Aromatherapists use essential oils and each one has different therapeutic properties. After a full consultation a small number of oils will be selected to suit your individual need, then blended with a carrier oil before being applied to skin during massage.

Ear candling is an ancient practice that has been used for centuries in many cultures throughout the world. They are hollow tubes made from unbleached cotton or linen and hardened with beeswax.

You will lie on a massage table and a protective cloth with a slit in it will be placed over the ear. The ear candle will be lit and gently inserted into the opening of the ear. Once treatment is completed, it will be repeated on the other ear. During treatment you may experience gentle heat around the ear area. You may hear popping sounds and a pleasant crackling as the ingredients are burning.
Treatment also includes a short face, neck and shoulder massage. 

As with all treatments, a full consultation should be completed with your therapist to ensure that ear candling is right for you.
