We combine Cupping with Remedial massage. This allows us to work the superficial muscular layers and release them first and is beneficial prior to remedial massage as the therapist is then able to quickly reach the deeper layers of the muscles. During cupping there are many techniques that can be used to work different areas of the body such as gliding the cup to create regional pulling of the skin and muscles and to help break up the stagnation, this is a gentler technique that reduces the subcutaneous bruising.
