One Love Lane first opened its doors in July 2020. 

Since then we have fast gained a wide reputation for being Cambridge’s most beautiful and instagrammable salon with a passion for making all of our clients salon experiences an amazing one every time.

The vision began in 2012 when the One Love Lane founder and owner, Charlotte (you may know her better as Rapunzel Rocks) started her career in Hair Extensions. Her business, passion and reputation grew to the point that One Love Lane became a real possibility - The dream was born.

Hair Tinsels

Dry Cut On Extensions (Does Not Include Curl)

This appointment is to replace Nano ring extensions that have been lost in between maintenance appointments. Although unlikely if cared for correctly, it is within normal range to loose up to 15 strands between maintenances. They can be saved and brought back in to be replaced at your regular maintenance appointments, unless it is causing a problem. 

Nanos can be lost for several reasons:
1.) Stagging in knots when brushing. This is especially likely when wet or when the hair gets older and becomes dryer.
2.) Using products that can make the hair slippery at the root e.g. hair masques, oils etc.
3.) Wearing hair up too tight

When hair is wet or knotty, hold the extensions at the top when brushing them out. When the knots are removed, move on to the root. Refrain from using cheaper products and those with sulphates, as these can result in the hair becoming dryer and brittle over time.
