Wood Therapy intensifies the breakdown of fat and cellulite so that it can be eliminated through the body along with other unwanted toxins.

This technique employs repetitive movements using different wooden instruments to manipulate targeted areas of muscle, fat and cellulite. This stimulates the Lymphatic System to remove unnecessary water, fat and toxins from the body. 

The treatment is non invasive, speeds up metabolism, and really helps to create more definition to the body and its shape. 

A course of 5-10 is recommended for the best results.

Ideally, all new mums would have a massage as soon after birth as possible, to help the muscles release the muscle memory of labour, gently aid healing and help with spinal realignment. These are all important factors in helping your body to return to its pre-pregnancy state.

If you are nervous to leave your baby for a period of time, or are unable to get childcare, you can bring them with you so that if you need to feed or tend to them during the massage, you can do so. 

We allow extra time for little disruptions so that you are able to relax knowing that you and your baby are safe and not rushed. 

Please note that this is only suitable for babies who are not yet mobile, and are comfortable staying in a bassinet or pram during the treatment. 

Bring your baby || Postnatal Massage

Ideally, all new mums would have a massage as soon after birth as possible, to help the muscles release the muscle memory of labour, gently aid healing and help with spinal realignment. These are all important factors in helping your body to return to its pre-pregnancy state.

As a general rule, following a vaginal delivery, you can receive massage as soon as you feel comfortable and would like to. Following a caesarean delivery, the standard recommendation is 4-6 weeks; after which point your incision will have healed and you will feel comfortable lying face down on the table.

For those who may still feel a little icky on their tummy (I know I did for a little while after c-section) I can offer the massage side laying with lots of props and support.

Postnatal Massage
