We had spoken about your experience the day after with your husband. We have pictures to prove your dog wasn’t nervous after. 
We offered to work with you on the uneven clip on his tummy and explained that due to Bumbles ligament problems we weren’t prepared to lift him up and potentially aggravate an injury as this would not in his best interest. 
We proceeded to give you a full refund following discussions also after speaking with yourself. The cut was even and not rushed. Dogs are clipped on their heads and scissored. We stated that we had left the tail and head until you arrived as we knew you would have specific ideas on styles and wanted to consult you.
Furthermore Bumbles tail was matted around the base which is why he had to be clipped. This would have caused him pain where he wasn’t groomed. Welfare over vanity. You agreed to this. 
He was also matted behind his ears. Again this had to be shaved off so he didn’t wouldn’t be in pain. Our terms and conditions were agreed to.

Rushed grooming - was called after 1 and a quarter hours (normally takes 2 hours) for a medium sized working cocker who had lots of hair. Nails weren't done on pick up and clip uneven.  No feathers at all left on legs, which I had asked for short but with some feathers on - tail looks like been trimmed for a poodle show.
When I suggested that the head cut unevenly, it was then just shaved.  The hair on the ears still uneven, which I will trim myself to even them up.  Bumble usually enjoys going to the groomers but he was nervous when I picked him up and feel that his grooming has been rushed.

Full Groom - Small Dog

Long-haired breeds and cats that struggle to groom themselves properly will benefit from this service. As most cats are notorious shedders, we seek to fully remove all deadcoat from your pet so that human laps covered in fur are a thing of the past, as well as making your cat’s coat shiny, fresh and tangle-free. Regular grooming helps to prevent matting too, which can be uncomfortable or even painful for your pet. 
This groom includes:

A lion cut cat has had all the fur shaved from their body. All that’s left is the fur on their face, head, tail, and feet.

Professional teeth cleaning is a must for all dogs! The perfect age to start is between 2-4 years old.
This teeth cleaning service is your initial deep clean and will last for approx one hour.
We cannot guarantee that one clean will be enough. Therefore follow up appointments to loosen the tartar will be required.

This is a follow up appointment with Kirsty. This can only be booked by Kirsty and has been agreed with the customer. 

Follow Up With Kirsty

Our Puppy introduction package comprises of 3 visits for your puppy aged between 13 weeks and 4 months. They must have had both vaccinations before attending.

Your puppy will receive 3 introductory grooms whereby they will become accustom to the smells, noises and handling at the salon.  

Their first groom will be brushing and cleaning them, working with de-sensitisation techniques so they aren't scared. 

Their second groom will build on the reward system we use and progress to cleaning ears and nail clipping if they need it. At this point we will wash your puppy. 

The third session will consist of a full groom. We assess puppies every step of the way, we allow them time to process the environment and smells, as well as the grooming. 

This is the right path to giving your puppy the best introduction to the grooming environment and also helps if you ever need to go to the vets as puppy is handled well and not phased.

The total cost is £95 for the three sessions.

Just because sometimes 6 weeks is too long and they need a wash and dry! 

Using our Hydrospa means that your dog gets all the benefits of the water and shampoo combination right down to the root getting your dog super clean whilst using a mild shampoo and conditioner! 

Choose this as a top up to maintain your dog in between your advised grooming schedule, or if they have rolled in something stinky!  We try our very best to remove the smell. 

No styling or grooming is included.
