Myofascial Release is a specialised treatment that releases restrictions within the fascial network (connective tissue), enabling stuck, hardened and dehydrated areas to become pliable, soft, mobile and hydrated.

Gentle, sustained pressure is applied and stretching to the trigger points, or knots, in the fascia, until the tension is released. 

This therapy aims to restore the fascia’s natural mobility, enhance flexibility, relieve pain, and improve overall body function.

Myofascial Release Massage

The treatment of Hopi Ear Candles lasts approximately 45 minutes. It begins with the therapist placing the candle in one of the ears and allowing it to burn to a safe level. The ear candle is then removed and extinguished in water. The second ear is then treated with a new candle.

The use of candles is followed up with some pressure point massage on the face. This helps to relieve pressure and stimulates the flow of blood and lymph in the facial region.
 
This treatment is a traditional and ancient technique that has been used by the Mayan, Aztec, Tibetan and Egyptian civilisations for cleansing and spiritual healing.

You may feel some warmth and hear crackling during the treatment. Do not worry - this is normal and may even be soothing to some.
