The Massey University Sauna Station is located outside the Massey University Recreation Center. Massey is now the only University in New Zealand where recreation center members, University staff and students have access to an authentic wood fired Sauna for there mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. More than just a place to sweat and recover its a place to unwind and connect.

This is a Massey University Special Sauna option of 2 x 20 minute Sauna rounds gives the Massey University Community the opportunity to experience Aucklands only authentic wood fired Sauna from the convenience of University grounds. This 40  minute session is perfect length to reset, relax and rejuvinate.

This option will give you 40 minutes of Sauna Time in the larger communal Sauna. Best use of the time is 2 x 15 minute Rounds with a 10 minute cool off between round. Usually a quick dip in the ocean. Can also be 3 x 10 minute rounds with shorter breaks. Up to you how you use the time. This is a fantastic quick reset for the mind and body.

Sauna : 2 Rounds -The Quickie

This Sauna Session is exactly what the name implies … Perfection… this is in my opinion the right amount of time to do multiple rounds of Sauna and Cool off in the ocean to ensure your mind, your muscles and your nervous system go into deep relaxation and any stress simply dissolves. 75 Minutes that will ensure you get the best nights sleep. 

Perfection : 3 - 4 Round Sauna Session 

This Option will give you up to 100 minutes  in the Communal Sauna. Is an ideal time to give yourself multiple rounds and the ultimate Sauna experience with a friends. This options means you can really take your time in and out of the sauna and take your experience to the next level.

This option allows you 60 mins of Sauna time which is most often broken into 3 twenty minute rounds with a shower cool off in between plus the opportunity to chat , dance & eat for as long as you need. BYO Non Alcoholic drinks and food.
You can choose to add Ice bath on the night if you feel.

This option allows you 75 mins of Sauna time which is most often broken into 3 twenty minute rounds with an ICE bath cool off in between plus the opportunity to chat , dance & eat for as long as you need. BYO Non Alcoholic drinks and food.
