Sports Massage

Deep Tissue Massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia. It is used for chronic aches and pain and helps to break up scar tissue that forms, reducing tension in muscle and tissue.  It can be an excellent stress reliever, lower blood pressure and heart rate and rehabilitates injured muscles.

Lymphatic drainage massage is a form of gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues. Some health conditions can cause lymph fluid to build up.

Whether it’s a firmer massage to relieve discomfort or a softer massage to help relax, it will certainly help to rejuvenate you during pregnancy. Many expectant mothers have reported feeling relief from aching joints, reduced anxiety, renewed energy and improved sleep.
* If you have a condition that requires you to take medication or if you are at present under medical supervision, you must first take advice (written letter or verbally)  from your GP/specialist  or midwife prior to the first treatment. Only suitable from the 2nd trimester onwards.
