Half an hour of dry cupping therapy performed on one specific area of the body or on multiple. 

Cupping therapy is a form of manual therapy where muscle is lifted allowing the blood to be held in one area. During this time different techniques can be applied to aid the increase in range of motion. 

Different manual cupping techniques will be used in order to decrease tightness, pain and increase range of motion. The cupping techniques will vary from passive (no movement needed) to active (the client will perform certain movements under the instruction of the therapist with the cups applied). 

This type of therapy can be very beneficial for specific injury rehabilitation as well as improving mind muscle connection and general pain relief. 

30 Minute Dry Cupping Therapy

Body Stats Consultation

The initial consultation will give you a chance to meet the therapist prior to booking for a session. It will go over the pre screening consultation form containing information about previous medical history, current medical status and emergency contact details. 

It will then include an assessment which will contain some of or all of the following (dependent on injury/reason for booking):

Postural analysis
Walking gait analysis
Muscle Firing pattern testing
Injury screening
Joint integrity testing
Ligament and tendon testing 
Range of motion testing
Strength testing

Consultation 

A condensed session of Injury rehabilitation lasting 30 minutes. This session will include an initial assessment of the injury followed by suitable treatment methods with the addition of exercise prescription and advice for injury treatment.

30 minute Injury Rehabilitation

A 30 minute condensed massage generally with the focus of one or two areas as opposed to a full body massage. This session will include a range of different massage techniques progressing from gentle strokes to deeper techniques aiming to break down tightness.

30 minute massage

30 minute Manual Therapy

The same as the standard 1hr full body deep tissue session with the addition of a couple of extra areas released and more time spent on each area.

1hr Full body deep tissue massage (MOT) Calves, hamstrings, quads, lower and upper back, flute and pec (chest) release if desirable.

Full body deep tissue MOT 

A full body assessment including muscle testing, joint testing, postural analysis and pain levels. Treatment includes a range of manual therapy techniques including but not limited to, massage, METs, cupping therapy and exercise prescription.
