Regardless, our estheticians will cleanse your skin at the beginning of your appointment. Also, make sure your hair is long enough. If you shave your legs, then your hair needs to be at least 1/4 of an inch long to adhere to wax properly.

Do not worry about trimming before the appointment. Your waxing professional does that for you, and they know how long your hair needs to be. Instead, take an Ibuprofen, Advil or other non-aspirin painkiller an hour before to help with any discomfort and reduce inflammation after the wax.
 may use multiple wax types on your legs. The most common is the use of soft wax, which is removed with wax strips. With this process, they spread hot wax on your body and then place a strip of cloth over it. When they remove the cloth, the wax pulls your hair out with it.



 Leg Waxing 

Chest waxing includes your chest, stomach, abs, shoulders and blending into your arms. Chest waxing is done with soft wax. We begin where hair is least dense to densest depending on your pain tolerance. We do trim the chest hair when necessary to prevent matting. Some bleeding may occur topically, but will clear up by the end of your chest hair waxing. Skin may be a little sensitive and tender, but this will go away overnight. We do soft wax over large areas like the chest. This is the easiest and fastest way to get through the pain factor. At our discretion, we may use hard wax in any areas that we find to be particularly furry. Don’t worry about trimming your chest hair first before you come in. We will take care of it. Generally, it’s easier to wax when the hair is longer.

Male Chest & Abs Wax 

The hairs under your arm can be very noticeable even when short particularly if you have darker hairs growing in that area.  This means regular treatment and maintenance of the area is needed and waxing helps to increase the time needed between each treatment session.
As with anywhere else on the body, waxing your underarms has many benefits.  With the hair removed from the root, the growth of new hair slows down.  This means that the waxed underarm area can be hair free for anything from two to six weeks.  As waxing makes it longer for hair to grow back to the surface, you can look forward to spending less time preparing your underarm each morning and can finally put those blades in the bin.

When hair is pulled out at the root during the waxing process it actually damages the hair follicle resulting in thinner and finer hair growing back in its place (less noticeable in many cases).  Therefore it is important to continue with regular treatments of the underarm area.
