Melissa is the founder of The Brow Bar. She placed at the top of her class at L.B Studios of Makeup in Edmonton, AB in 2008.   In May of 2016 she travelled back to Edmonton to  gain advanced training in Microblading under Giovanna Minenna; CEO and Master Brow Artist of Brows by G. Winnipeg; hosted by MC College Edmonton. Constantly advancing education, Melissa strives to continue to perfect the art of her craft, while adding access to new services to the local community.

Recommended treatment of target concerns require 4-6 sessions.

It involves pinpoint tiny needles that are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to provoke the skin cells into increasing production of collagen and elastin. Recommended treatment of target concerns require 6 sessions.

Microblading color boost, suitable for those who have had microblading performed in the last 12-18 months and have retained 30-40% of their last session in strokes or shading.

Work done by another artist will require a separate booking for a consultation.

Done with a manual stippler, used to create the look of powder brows and can be added to Microblading for the always done make-up look.

Microblading is a natural hair stroke effect which is done manually with a microblading tool. This tool is used to make thin incisions on the skin that look like natural brow hairs. The Brow Bar uses Vegan And Cruelty free Canadian products.

It is a permanent makeup technique with semi-permanent results lasting anywhere between 12-48 months depending on skin type and lifestyle . Microblading is an advanced form of eyebrow tattooing which fades over time.  Color refresh is recommended after 12-18 months.

Microblading is generally considered safe for most people. But since it involves the breaking of the surface of the skin, it carries certain risks, while uncommon, the possibility of a allergic reaction to pigments and skin infections must be noted. Eyelash Extension Removal

Allergy patch testing. Book a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Patch Test- Allergies

An extra 30 minutes of lashing to get the most out of your lash extension appointment. 

Suitable to add of for those with a dense amount of lashes or those that want to ensure every single lash has an extension if you are out of time.

Every Last Lash Time Boost- 30 mins

2 weeks post appointment refill for classic lash set. 

Single strand extension attachment, replenishment back to full set or 1 hour of lashing, whichever comes first.

2 week Classic In-fill (1 hour)

3 week classic lash in-fill, 1.5 hours or full set restoration, whichever comes first.

3 Week Classic In-fill 1.5 Hours


New set of lashes or 2 hours of lashing, whichever comes first. 
Single strand lash attachment to natural lashes to create a longer and fuller appearance. While the goal is to lash every individual lash, 2 hours does not guarantee that every individual lash will have an extension, but will be distributed evenly. 

To ensure every lash has an extension, book the 30 minute 'Every Last Lash Time Boost" time extension.
  
PLEASE NOTE: Allergic reactions happen, while the service is non-refundable, there are steps you can take to ensure a successful application.  Eyelash extension  glue has known reactive ingredients: Cyanoacrylate (in every lash extension glue) and Carbon Black. If you have known allergies to these ingredients, try a lash lift and tint.

 If you are unsure, always book a patch test 24 hours prior to your appointment, available in booking catalogue.
