Olaplex in Colour Service & Treatment 

A popular freehand technique that is painted on the surface of the hair to create a seamless blend that beautifully frames the face. This multi-tonal effect gives the ultimate sun-kissed look on natural or pre-coloured hair with no obvious regrowth. The bespoke nature of a balayage allows your colourist to cleverly influence the hair’s colour composition meaning there can be a number of beautiful balayage variations.

Balayage allows for a sun-kissed natural looking hair colour, that allows for a softer, less noticeable re-growth. The main idea being less is more when creating a natural, multi-tonal finish. The technique uses patches of light and shade to create multiple dimensions to the colour, that result in a gorgeous, salon-quality finish. It’s a great method if you want to refresh your colour but don’t want to go for a bold colour overhaul.

Highlights are simply strands of hair that are lighter than your natural colour. We also offer Lowlights as a technique which involves darkening strands of hair using colours that are darker or the same depth as your natural colour to help add strength and dimension.

Highlights or Lowlights can be partially or fully applied throughout the hair, from a variety of colours, from bold to natural. Partial highlights, commonly referred to as half head highlights, are generally placed around your face to accentuate your features and subtly brighten up the overall appearance of your natural hair colour.  Half head highlights are a great way to lighten hair without undergoing a full overhaul of your natural hair colour. Full head highlights on the other hand, create a much more dramatic, all-over colour transformation. Whilst this is not the same as a full head colour, full head highlights create a more even, defined colour lift and hair lightening effect throughout your whole hair.

A full head of colour is where one colour is applied all over the head from roots to tips, using permanent colour to cover grey and lift virgin hair by up to 3 levels or semi-permanent to change depth, tone and add shine to your hair.  Permanent colour requires higher maintenance and upkeep compared to a Semi-Permanent  where regrowth is less noticeable. Whether it’s brunette, red, blonde or if you’re after a statement making fashion colour, our stylists can recommend a shade that is perfect for you.

What is the difference between Full Keratin Treatment and the Express one ? The answer to this question is quite simple. It’s all about time.

Both smoothing treatments offer smoother, shinier and frizz-free hair. Both function by infusing your hair with natural keratin. The true difference is the time it takes to apply the treatment and the time the treatment lasts. Express Treatment the perfect for those on the go, for those who want to top up their keratin treatment or for those who want to give the smoothing treatment a try. It is a quick half-hour application process so that you do not have to dedicate your entire day to the salon. Keratin Treatment, on the other hand, requires more time at the salon. A properly applied treatment can take anywhere from 2-4 hours, depending on the length of your hair and how much hair you have.
