Piercing Consultation / Jewellery Browsing (No Piercing)

This is a great opportunity to bring your child in for a casual look around the studio and all the jewellery, and to have an informal one to one chat with me about potentially getting their first ear piercings! 
I will be happy to answer any and all questions that you and your child may have - there will be time to browse all the different jewellery options (school rules permitting), we will discuss aftercare responsibilities, I will explore ways to help ease any nerves and/or cater to any special needs/requirements/disabilities that your child might have, and we'll also have a friendly age appropriate conversation to give them confidence about voicing their consent or none consent should they change their mind at any time. I aim to be honest and encouraging, but if the child does not wish to be pierced, I will always listen to the child first. You can both get a feel for the environment in general before making a solid decision on whether to book in for an appointment at a later date!

Children's Optional First Visit (U16, No Piercing)

Looking to start a project but need some advice on what to get and where it can go, perhaps wanting to book in for another time to get it started? This is the option for you!

Curated Piercing Consultation (No Piercing)

You may wish to select this service before booking in for a Nipple or Genital piercing. This is so we can have a chat, check your anatomy suitability, have a look at jewellery options, discuss aftercare, and I'll be happy to answer any and all questions you might have. 

For genital piercings, there is a mandatory 48 hour "cooling off" period from the day of the consultation, so we will not be performing your piercing(s) on the day.

Please note, I only offer female / vulval genital piercings. You MUST be 18 or over on the day of your appointment and you must have government issued ID with you. One trusted chaperone is welcome to attend with you if you like.

Need me to take a look at a poorly piercing? This is the option for you! Please note, this is not for 6 week check up / downsizes, this appointment is for general check ups (regardless of whether the piercing was done by me or not.)

Advice is always free, but if we need to swap or remove any jewellery, there is a service charge of £5, and then any additional jewellery costs.

Troubleshooting Piercing Consultation

Has your anodised jewellery started to look a little past its best? Book this appointment so I can give it a good professional cleaning, and zap some colour back into it for you so it looks good as new!

A pair of ear lobe piercings placed vertically next to each other, usually done with a smaller attachment / ball at the top and a larger one at the bottom but the possibilities are endless!

*PRICE SHOWN is the cost of piercing fee plus plain implant grade titanium jewellery. This will vary if any other jewellery is chosen.

Stacked Lobe Piercing (14+)

Piercing at the front of the ear, above the Tragus, next to the hairline.

Forward Helix Piercing (14+)

Piercing located on the cartilage fold just behind the ear canal, below the Rook. Sometimes referred to ads the "Migraine Piercing", though there is absolutely no evidence to support this claim. Please see your GP if you are seeking effective migraine relief.

Daith Piercing (14+)

Piercing on the little bit of cartilage below the forward helix,  next to the head, in front of the ear canal.

Tragus Piercing (14+)

Piercing on the ridge of cartilage located just behind the forward helix.

A single piercing just above the upper Rook fold area of the ear, like an outer conch / flat piercing but closer towards the head.

Piercing in the "bowl" of cartilage located behind the ear canal, below the Daith.

Piercing located on the flatter part of the top of the ear, like a Helix piercing, but more towards the middle.

Nose Piercing (14+)

Piercing(s) in the nostril above the nostril crease, generally as high up as comfortably possible. Looks amazing on their own, or even better when connected with a chain!

Age restricted to 18+ with ID, no exceptions.

High Nostril Piercing (18+)

This is done as a pair of nostril piercings, one at either side. Instead of placing the jewellery at the side of the nose, it sits more forwards at the tip of the nose, giving the illusion of a horizontal nose piercing.

Forward Nostril / "Mantis" Piercing (18+)

Piercing through the septum area of the nose, between the nostrils. This is not a cartilage piercing, there is a "sweet spot" of soft tissue between the top and bottom areas of cartilage which is where the jewellery sits.
Age restricted to 16+, under 18's must bring a parent / legal guardian or have government issued photo ID if unaccompanied.

Septum Piercing (16+)

Piercing placed horizontally through the top or bottom lip (or both!) with a labret, this includes all variations of "bites", Medusas, Monroe's, Low-brets, basically everything but the following: Vertical Labret, Inverted Vertical Labret ("Ashley piercing"), and Vertical Philtrum ("Jestrum Piercing")

Standard Lip Piercing (16+)

Vertical piercing through the bottom lip using a curved barbell, you could choose to have one in the middle, a pair in the middle, or a pair at either side! (Anatomy permitting.)

Age restricted to 16+. Under 18's must be accompanied by a parent / legal guardian. Government issued photo ID is required if unaccompanied.

Vertical Labret Piercing (16+)

This piercing is placed through the actual bottom lip itself, with an attachment / ball sitting on the lip and a small disk sitting on the inside of the lip, usually using a curved bar. This is commonly done as a single piercing in the middle of the bottom lip, but where anatomy allows there's no reason you couldn't get two or even three!

Inverted Vertical Labret / "Ashley Piercing" (16+)

This piercing is placed vertically through the middle of the upper lip, the top attachment / ball sits in the Philtrum area and the bottom attachment / ball sits on the outside of the actual lip itself.

Age restricted to 16+, under 18's must be accompanied by a parent / legal guardian or bring government issued photo ID if unaccompanied.

Vertical Upper Lip / "Jestrum Piercing" (16+)

This piercing is done through the thin webbing of tissue underneath the top lip, usually with a circular piece of jewellery so it can be seen when you smile!

**This is a "long term temporary" piercing, it is not designed to last a lifetime. How long it will last each individual person varies, some people enjoy it for a few months, others a few years.**

Age restricted to 16+, under 18's must bring a parent / legal guardian, or government issued photo ID if unaccompanied.

Upper Lip Frenulum / "Smiley Piercing" (16+)

A traditional tongue piercing is done vertically through the middle of the tongue, generally a little bit forward towards the tip (but not too much), exact placement will vary slightly according to anatomy. Tongue piercings can also be safely done in multiples down the middle, or vertically at either side of the tongue ("venom bites")

If you are hoping for three or more, I would recommend getting no more than two per sitting and book for the third at a later date to allow for more comfortable healing.

I DO NOT perform "snake eye" piercings, "scoop" piercings, or any other name for some sort of horizontal tongue piercing.
