Microneedling is a safe and effective skin rejuvenating treatment which involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The small wounds cause the body to produce more collagen and elastin, which helps treat various skin imperfections and restore a healthy, youthful appearance.

At The Skin Studio, we take the treatment next level by combining microneedling with sterile, potent mesotherapy (by Clinicare) for an enhanced, targeted treatment - allowing the active ingredients to work at maximum effect

This 1 hr massage treats knots, tension and pain. It increases blood flow to affected areas, loosens tight areas and helps to restore range of movement.

The massage technique is predominantly deep tissue to address any issues. However, a lighter pressure can be used for a more relaxing treatment if preferred. We’ll have a full consultation at the start of the session so the massage is perfect for you

Express Reflexology

Based on the idea that certain parts of the foot are linked with different parts of the body, Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing.

It involves applying pressure to the feet and if you’ve not tried it, you need too - it’s soooo nice

The Hollywood Contouring Facial is designed to lift and contour the face, neck and chest by combining radio frequency, the Esthemax contouring mask and face sculpting massage

The RF uses electromagnetic waves to heat the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and resulting in a tightening effect - reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin

The masks main ingredient is Argireline, a powerful anti-wrinkle hexapeptide that affects the nerve-to-muscle communication - targeting visible signs of ageing, large pores, creases and crinkles

Hollywood Contouring Facial

My ‘go to’ facial as it’s minimally invasive and great for..

What’s involved?
After a double cleanse and Clinicare enzyme peel, a layer of gel is applied to the face before an activator mask is pressed firmly onto the gel. The reaction infuses carbon dioxide into the skin to stimulate an increased flow of oxygen

While the mask is on for around 25mins you can relax with a shoulder & scalp massage, mini reflexology session or just chill out to your choice of music

Is it painful?
The treatment doesn’t hurt but you will feel an intense tingling sensation for a couple of minutes when the gel and mask reacts

The results…
Elasticity will improve and the skin will be firmer and brighter. Pores will appear to look smaller and wrinkles could be reduced. Now you can see why it’s my ‘go to’ treatment! 

Carboxy Facial

What is high frequency?
High frequency uses small currents to oxygenate the skin - which triggers blood flow and the production of collagen and elastin. The oxygen molecules also have an anti-bacterial effect, immediately killing acne-causing bacteria. The reaction also removes toxins, enriches cells with nutrients and stimulates cell renewal.

What are the benefits of high frequency?
High frequency facials are able to treat a wide range of common skin concerns. They help to improve overall glow, tone, and texture, treat breakouts, stimulate lymphatic flow, reduce puffiness, and stimulate collagen and elastin to reduce signs of ageing

Is it suitable for my skin?
It’s not suitable for those who are pregnant or who have heart conditions, a pacemaker, heart disease or high blood pressure

High Frequency Facial

This relaxing facial will tone and tighten skin that is losing laxity or showing early to moderate signs of ageing - perfect for contouring the jawline and cheekbones. Using radio frequency, heat is penetrated into the deep dermis stimulating fibroblast cells to rapidly produce collagen and elastin as well as skin regeneration and improvement in tone, pigmentation and texture.

No healing time is required, meaning daily life can continue as normal after the treatment 

Some may start to see changes to their skin right away. However, the most significant improvements to skin tightness will come later after a set of 6 sessions over 5 months are completed. Skin can keep getting tighter up to six months after the radiofrequency treatment.
