Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a light touch modality that aids in the lymph flow of the lymphatic system, which acts as the body’s sewage system, discarding waste and excess fluid. The lymph nodes, integral parts of the lymphatic system, produce, store, and discharge immune cells that combat foreign elements like viruses and bacteria. A massage stimulates these lymph nodes, causing them to release the accumulated fluid in the muscle, which is then purged from the body. Regular lymph drainage massages can have positive effects on general health and well-being. Ideal candidates for lymphatic	drainage massage include, pre and post surgical (to accelerate healing), pre and post natal (stress relief, increase blood flow, reduce swelling) and those managing autoimmune conditions (pain relieving and relaxing to the nervous system).

In a combo session, Jen uses the work of Zero Balancing to release tension in the core structure of the body (the bones) and addresses issues in soft tissue and fascia (muscles) with massage.  Each session is unique, personal and a direct experience to each individual body. It’s a great option for individuals that have a difficult time “dropping into” the body and opening up to receive the benefits of touch therapy. Longer sessions allow time to release tension in the soft tissue and address specific areas in the body. After the initial intake, Jen may suggest using cupping as a tool to aid in releasing congested areas in the body and improve chi (energy) flow.
