New to massage? This is the perfect introduction treatment that aims to ease tension in your upper body. Also good if you're looking to squeeze in a quick appointment in your busy day. 
This treatment can be light, medium or deep pressure depending on your preference. 
Leave feeling looser, lighter and calmer. 

Back, Neck & Shoulders

With light - medium pressure, this classic massage is best for relaxation and stress relief. 
Swedish techniques including stretching, kneading and strokes that aim to relax both the body and mind.
Sessions can be focused, such as on the back, or full body for complete relaxation. 
All my massages begin with an initial consultation so it can be tailored just for you.



Swedish Massage

Hot stones not only feel like a real treat, they also help to penetrate your muscles without a need for deep pressure. Basalt hot stones are swept and held across the body, combined with Swedish techniques, to target stubborn areas of tension. 

This is a super comforting massage that melts away your worries - my favourite treatment!

Please note, unlike other massages my hands are not constantly in contact with the body, as the stones need to be swapped over. :)

Imagine ocean waves...Hawaiian Lomi Lomi or “loving hands” massage uses long, sweeping movements across the whole body at once. 
The massage has a light pressure and more oil than other styles so the motion is smooth and gentle. More of the body is undraped (I demo this at your appointment so you know exactly what to expect). Rather than targeting muscle knots, the focus is more on acknowledging your mind, body and soul as a whole, achieving a deep meditative relaxation. 


Lomi Lomi Massage

Uses medium - deep pressure best for targeting physical discomfort, stiffness and chronic tension. Contrary to popular belief, this doesn't make it a painful treatment. 

We start with stretches, compressions and Swedish strokes to warm up the fascia and underlying muscles. Areas of tension are identified and then deeper techniques including mobilising the muscle, deeper pressure and focused trigger point work help to ease the area. You will feel a "helpful ache" rather than pain, so we work with the nervous system rather than against it. I am patient in my approach and check in regarding pressure :)

Please note: This is not to be confused with a sports massage!

Add Hot Stones to the end of your Swedish or Deep Tissue appointment. The heat can then be used to help encourage your muscles to further release any tension identified during the massage, such as tightness in your shoulders!
