It is a technique that involves placing a hollow, cone-shaped tube (or 'candle') made of cotton, soaked in beeswax, honey and herbs into the ear canal in order to stimulate the ear and facilitate the removal of excess wax and impurities.

• Exfollate your skin before the session. The fresh skin cells will form a smooth base that your spray tan will stick to. The fresher the skin cells, the longer the life of the tan. A good scrub and an exfoliating mitt will allow the elimination of all the dead skin cells and impurities on the body. Pay attention to rough areas lIke the top of the feet, heels, ankles, elbows, knees, knuckles, etc.
• Shave, wax and exfoliate the skin at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. It's important to allow the amino acids to reconstruct as DHA needs amino acids to develop. Also, the pores need time to close before applying the solution, Otherwise, the bronzer can get soaked into the pores.
• Do not wear any existing self-tanner or residue from a former spray tan on the skin.
• Do not use lotions, oil-based exfoliating products, gels or waxing/shaving creams on the day of the appointent. These can leave a film and change the pH of the skin.

A hair toner is a product that helps you correct or personalise your colour. It is used to add natural or more visible tones after a professional colour treatment. As a result, it enhances the tonality of your hair. How? By creating a professional finished look. In order for toner to work, hair has to be pre-lightened or coloured first. It is most commonly used for shades of blonde hair, but it can be beneficial for brunettes and redheads too.

A professional in-salon toner is more pigmented than a silver shampoo or purple shampoo that is used at home. However, these products are excellent products to maintain a bright or cool colour between salon appointments.

Depending on you hair type and hair condition, toner can last between 2-to-6 weeks. Hair that has been coloured previously can sometimes hold toners for less time than hair that has only been coloured once, so may need more regular toning.
