Here are some tips for beginners getting a spray tan:
Exfoliate
Exfoliating removes dead skin, which helps the tan look better and last longer.
Shave
Shave at least 24 hours before your appointment so your pores can close and your tan won't be streaky. Shaving after your tan can make it look blotchy and fade faster.
Moisturize
Moisturize your skin right before your tan. Smoother skin helps the tan look better.
Avoid makeup and deodorant
Don't wear makeup, deodorant, body oils, perfume, or other skin additives on the day of your tan. These products can prevent the tan solution from penetrating your skin, which can make it look blotchy.
