       How long does your hair have to be to wax?

A minimum an ⅛” of an inch of hair; ideally, a ¼” to ½” of growth. This is typically about 2 weeks from the last time you shaved. If it’s longer than that leave it alone. We can trim it before your wax if it’s out of control. If you try to groom the area before coming in, you might cut it too short. Leave it to us

Beard waxing removes unwanted facial hair from the roots instead of merely trimming the hair. This process’s advantage over regular shaving is that hair doesn’t grow back as quickly as in shaving. 

With regular waxing, one can even hope to not see hair regrowth in their targeted area on the face. Beard waxing is an excellent option for people who like to maintain a clean-shaven look.

Waxing the beard helps to retain the results for more than two weeks. Actually, it varies a lot from 2-8 weeks. Unlike shaving, where the facial hair grows back after 3-4 days, since waxing targets the hair follicles itself, new hair’s growth takes time. 

If you dislike shaving every day or are simply too busy to shave regularly, waxing is a better solution.

MICROBLADING is a form of semi-permanent makeup where fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments are used to create hairlike strokes to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hairs. This allows for natural-looking, fuller brows that will enhance your facial features and restore youthfulness to your overall appearance. 

Results will last anywhere between 1-2 years if the client doesn't skip the 6-to-8 week Perfection Session. It is recommended to get a touch-up about 1-year later to keep your brows looking their best! 

A perfection session (i.e. touch-up appointment) may be necessary 6-8 weeks after your initial service to tweak those brows to perfection!  

Microblading (Permanent makeup for your brows)

Safe removal of lash extensions.  This service can take up to 30-minutes to perform depending on the number of lashes to be removed.  

Lash Extension removal

DIY temporary lash extensions are the perfect way to give you some WOW lashes for a special event, vacation or just for everyday wear.  

During this service, short bands of lightweight lash extensions are professionally applied by your technician at the spa.  A gentle adhesive is used to apply them to your lash line (similar to how you would apply "falsies").  The beauty of this adhesive is that it creates a bond that lasts up to 5-days!!!  

Now, who wants WOW lashes?

Long-weekend lashes

The Classic lash extension application method consists of applying one (1) artificial lash to each healthy natural lash.  The end result is beautiful, fuller & longer lashes.... and no more need to apply mascara!!!!  (CAUTION:  You may have difficulty walking past mirrors without taking a second glance to appreciate how spectacular your eyes look.)

The first appointment takes between 2 & 3 hours and lash fill appointments will be required every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain fullness. If less than 50% of your lashes are remaining, your service will be billed as a full set so it is best to book your infill appointments in advance.

Chemical Peels (dermapeeling)

When all you need is a toe nail clipping and filing. Toe nails are recommended to be trimmed every 6-8. 

The service begins with a soothing foot soak followed by a cut & file of your toenails finished with the application of a moisturizing foot cream.  (Polish removal prior to trimming is extra.)

Please note: This service does not involve cuticle work, callus removal, polish or 'foot care" (e.g. freeing up ingrown toenails)



Cut & File Toenails

- Your fingernails will be cleaned & trimmed as needed, filed, buffed and shaped, followed by proper cuticle care.
- A relaxing hand massage is provided with our Classic, Spa and French Manicure options.
- A base coat will be applied first to ensure protection for your natural nail, then the colour and a top coat to lock the manicure in place. (optional)
- Spa Manicures have the added benefit of a gentle Sugar Scrub & nourishing Mask. 

The Express Manicure includes:
* cutting & trimming of the fingernails 
* pushing back the cuticles
* cleaning under the free edge 
* application of a moisturizing hand cream 
* application of a base coat, colour & top coat
* does NOT include any cuticle trimming

Manicure

When all you need is a simple polish change.  

Includes removal of existing polish, a quick filing if necessary, pushing back the cuticle, application of a base coat, colour polish, and top coat.  

This service does not include cutting of the fingernails/toenails, cuticle trimming or callus removal.

Add a Hydrojelly mask to your Brazilian wax service.  This mask is applied after your wax service.  Its nourishing ingredients will calm & soothe your skin while reducing inflammation and cooling the waxed area.  

Once the mask has set completely (15-20 minutes), it will be removed leaving you with smoother skin that looks and feels fabulous!

The Symmetry Spa body glow treatment includes removal of dead skin cells through mechanical exfoliation coupled with a relaxing massage.  The exfoliant will then be removed with steamed towels.  We finish your service with the application of a nourishing body cream.

Scalp Massage

The Symmetry Spa facial massage begins with a facial cleanse to remove environmental contaminants and bacteria.  A soothing hot towel will then be used to remove any cleansing product before the massage begins.
