Swedish style continuous flowing massage techniques are used to help you to de-stress, unwind and recover.

We offer full body or target just the areas of tension or pain.

The pressure of the massage strokes can be altered to remain within your comfort levels at all times.

Relaxation Massage

MLD is a light, gentle, rhythmic and repetitive set of techniques to stimulate lymph nodes, organs and vessels which can influence the movement of lymph (fluid) in the body.

The natural flow of lymph around the body can be interrupted by several factors causing swelling (oedema) in certain areas of the body. Factors may include surgery, pregnancy, joint injury, immobility, illness, stress, over-training or menopause.

MLD can assist by reducing oedema and inflammation, reducing joint stiffness and pain, reduce muscle pain and tension.

The gentle massage technique evokes a relaxation response to encourage healing and recovery.

Scientific research indicates that MLD is effective for helping muscle tissue recover following sports.

MLD can also assist with preparing the lymphatic system pre-surgery and aid recovery post-surgery.

It is a great treatment for maintaining general health, well-being and supporting good immune functions.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Pregnancy Massage:

Gentle massage techniques are used to help relieve muscle pain and tension, restless or cramping legs, sleep disturbance, fatigue and anxiety during pregnancy. Studies show that baby's health is positively influenced if the mother is not stressed.

Oedema (swelling) in the legs, ankles and feet may also occur during pregnancy. Manual Lymphatic drainage (MLD) techniques can be used to reduce oedema in the 2nd-3rd trimesters. 

Post-Natal recovery and rehabilitation massage:

This can help you recover from pregnancy or labour. Relaxation massage can help you cope with the stresses on your body and mind from raising a baby, infant and child.
