Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that consists of using a surgical scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dulling dead skin cells in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. 

The procedure aims to give facial skin a smooth, youthful, and radiant appearance. As well as smoothing skin and removing “peach fuzz,” it it also known to help minimise the look of scars, sun-damaged skin, and small wrinkles.

Multiple treatments are required in order to obtain optimal results spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

Dermaplaning is recommended for all skin types except those with acneic skin. If you have deep cystic acne, we will have to wait until breakouts are clear.

High frequency is a skin care treatment created to boost blood circulation, supplying tissues with oxygen and eliminating the bacteria under the skin helping to regenerate skin cells. It helps to treat and prevent stubborn acne, shrink enlarged pores.

The glass electrode will be gently applied on your skin which passes through inert gas (argon). You’ll hear the buzzing sound and see the blue light during the treatment as well as smell ozone produced in the result of high frequency current passed through the oxygen. This occurs between the electrode and the skin.

Microneedling uses a fine needle to create microwounds, or channels, in the skin. This triggers the production of capillaries, elastin, and collagen. It’s also called skin needling or collagen induction therapy.

When the procedure also uses radiofrequency waves, it’s called radiofrequency microneedling. The needle releases radiofrequency into the channels, causing additional damage. This enhances the effects of standard microneedling.

All About Skin

LB is an injectable fat loss treatment. It is a gel-based solution, derived from cholanic acid, which is produced by our bile duct to help up break down fats.

It is licensed for use in the UK for localised or spot removal of fat from areas such as the chin, knees, hips, thighs or under the buttocks and is generally regarded as safe. It is not a weight loss solution and is suitable for smaller, stubborn pockets of fat, not large area fat reduction.

It is a non-surgical way of body-shaping. This gel-based solution is injected into areas of unwanted fat. The solution works by disrupting the surface of the fat cells, causing them to weaken and become permeable.  An ultrasound treatment is then used to push the fats out of the cells. The fat is then absorbed by the body and excreted. It is a permanent result assuming the person having the treatment doesn’t gain weight after the treatment.

Treatments will usually be spaced 2-4 weeks apart. With 1-6 being needed, depending on area
