Such a lovely appointment with Jay today. Booked in for the first time with her and she was super hospitable and welcoming, gave some helpful tips on what hair to buy before the appointment too!

I got knotless braids and they turned out really lovely, I’m very happy with them!



Unhappy actually… the full address/door number was missing from the messages sent to me so I drover to the road listed but I  was unable to get the full address which made me late for the appointment… so as you can understand,  I am feeling really cheated as I now have to pay a late fee for an appointment that I technically had no control over as your system failed to deliver.  

Jordan was so sweet, and my french curl braids look great! She was very intentional about checking in to make sure I was doing okay and the hair was meeting my desires/expectations. Fair prices, quality work, and good vibes- you can't ask for more than that!

I only work with pre-stretched hair and not blunt end braiding hair as it adds a significant amount of time onto the appointment and causes a lot of loss of the braiding hair. Using pre-stretched braiding hair can cause less waste and is much easier to use. 

If you would like to bring a different hair other than the one recommended, please let me know and I will let you know if I can work with it! Otherwise, failure to bring the correct hair will result in a £10 additional fee

Knotless braids

Elevate your style with Goddess Knotless Braids featuring hair extensions. Achieve a divine, elegant look with added length and flair. Hair must be cleaned and detangled before the appointment (failure to do so may result in extra charges or being turned away with a loss of deposit); Please note hair extensions will not be provided.

The correct hair that is used for this style is pre-stretched braiding hair (for the braids) and curly hair pieces for the curly parts. 

I only work with pre-stretched hair and not blunt end braiding hair as it adds a significant amount of time onto the appointment and causes a lot of loss of the braiding hair. Using pre-stretched braiding hair can cause less waste and is much easier to use. 

This can range from human hair or synthetic hair. Recommend synthetic hair is by the Cherish brand. They have many curl patterns available. However, the most popular curly hair that is used for this style is deep twist bulk.

Cornrows

Braiding - Natural hair

Boho braids use human hair for the curly pieces left out, giving a more natural, soft, and long-lasting look. They require more time and preparation because the human hair must be carefully blended and maintained.

Goddess braids, on the other hand, use synthetic hair for the curly parts, which is quicker to install and more affordable, but may tangle or frizz faster.

In short, Boho braids offer a more natural finish and durability, while Goddess braids are easier and quicker to install.

Bob Styles

The correct hair to bring to the appointment is French Curl braiding hair. This type of hair is specifically designed for French curl braids. The hair is straight at the top, where it is braided, and has loose curls at the bottom, which are left out. This hair is not recommended for regular braids or loc styles because it is very soft and can easily unravel. It is not meant to be dipped in boiling water, as this will cause the curls to lose their shape. The ends are secured by tying with a knot and glue or by using a plastic band. 

As the knot with glue can add more time to your appointment, I ask that you book this as a separate service in the “add on section”. Please add the service called “knotted ends” if you would like this rather than plastic bands to avoid any confusion. Thank you

Removal Services

This option is only added at the end of an appointment if the wrong hair is brought to the appointment. I recommend the perfect hair to being for each style so if the wrong hair is brought, it can add a significant amount of time onto the appointment due to preparation of that hair, stretching the hair etc. If you would like to bring a different hair other than the one recommended, please let me know and I will let you know if I can work with it
