Patch tests must be done at least 1 month prior to your first appointment with Saná and repeated if you develop any new sensitivities or if it has been more than 12 months since you last had Jagua applied by Saná.

Please note that patch tests are not always accurate; although rare, they can give false results, and a rash may appear after applying a full design. 

For those with fruit allergies, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children, it's advisable to seek medical advice before using jagua gel.
