What is balayage?

Balayage is a softer, more natural looking result than traditional foil highlights. Re-growth lines are less noticeable, and the lines are more delicate, creating a sun-kissed look that recreates a few weeks in the sun. 

Pale skin: blonde, red and light brown or dark brown balayage will work best.

Medium skin tone: avoid any light colours that can wash out the skin. Stick to warm blondes and soft browns if you want a lighter hue. The ideal colours for you would be chocolate browns and reds. 

Dark skin tone: shades of warm or ashy blonde, caramel and light colours beautifully complement darker skin tones.

Balayage/Ombre

Transform your look with expertly applied foils throughout your hair for maximum brightness and a dramatic colour change. Perfect if you want to go much lighter, especially from brunette to blonde. 

A skin test is required for new clients at least 48 hours before your appointment. Please note, cuts and blow dries are not included in the colour service and must be booked separately.

Full Head of Highlights Short/Med Length Hair

When you book in for a full head of highlights, your colourist will apply foils all over your hair (including the underneath layers), for maximum lightening results. So, if you’re looking to go significantly lighter, full highlights will help get you there. While partial highlights are great for a subtle lightening effect, if you’re hoping for a more dramatic colour transformation such as going from brunette to blonde, we’d recommend full highlights.

Full Head Highlights Long hair

Half Head Highlights are generally placed around the top half of the hair, focusing on the front sections and mohawk section of hair around your face and parting. These are the areas where our hair would naturally lighten in the sun, so by isolating these areas and spot-colouring here, you’re able to get a sun-kissed look without having to commit to an all over colour. 

Note: when your hair is tied up, your natural colour will still be on show underneath as this section won’t have been touched, so if you like to wear your hair up in a ponytail or a half-up half-down, full highlights might be a better option.

T-section highlights are designed to lighten the top of the hair, specifically the front and crown area. In plain English, it's a bit like getting highlights but only a very small number once your darker regrowth has presented itself.

These are great for lightening up your hair colour while making it seem like you have more volume. 
That said, they suit most face shapes and hair types.
These are brilliant idea if you’re looking for highlights without having to have your whole head processed.
