Retwist is a maintenance method used to keep locs neat and defined by tightening the new growth at the roots. The process involves sectioning the hair, applying a light product like gel or wax, and twisting each loc from the root using the fingers or a comb. The locs are then usually clipped and dried to set the shape. Regular retwisting helps maintain the structure of the locs and keeps the style looking fresh and tidy.

method used to maintain and tighten the roots of locs by pulling the end of each loc through the new growth using a tool. This keeps the locs neat, strong, and helps prevent them from unraveling, while promoting healthy hair growth.

	•	Filling Gaps by wrapping or weaving in loose hair (natural or added) to strengthen weak areas.

Loc detox is a deep-cleansing treatment that removes product buildup, dirt, oil, and trapped debris from inside mature locs.
