Glowing Radiance Facial

Back acne occurs when there is an accumulation of dead skin cells & sebum within the pore. An over growth of cutibacterium triggers an anti-inflammatory response. Our Backne facial is perfect for anyone who is looking to clear up hyperpigmentation, & calm active acne lesions. The back will be cleansed, exfoliated using a professional micro scrub, & deep steamed. Extractions & further exfoliation will be done using a diamond encrusted microdermabrasion modality. A hydrating mask is included with a 10 minute relaxation massage & then a correcting serum will be lathered on to target acne & pigmentation. Acne medication will be used to spot treat any areas of inflammation & the back will then be moisturized. 


Backne Facial

Microdermabrasion or in other words “polishing of the skin” is a mechanical way to semi-ablatively exfoliate the top layer of the epidermis. A diamond encrusted wand triggers a wound response in the skin. As the skin repairs itself, it becomes smoother, thicker, more elastic & looks healthier as a result. Dead skin cells are sloughed off & suctioned away. Skin related concerns such as wrinkles, acne scarring & sun damage are improved.

A pampering facial designed to hydrate, soothe, protect & restore the delicate skin barrier. This facial is perfect for patients currently undergoing or recoverging from cancer treatment. Physician consent is recommended prior to consultation. Gentle & hydrating cleansers, serums, masks & moisturizers will be used on the skin to provide moisturization & lessen the discomfort from chemotherapy & radiation treatments. We will focus on healing, protecting & rejuvinating the skin. 

Some proceeds from this service will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The Chocolate and Champagne Circadia facial incorporates the cocoa enzyme and professional oxygen Rx facial mask. First we apply the cocoa enzyme and activator. This gentle anti-inflammatory enzyme contains natural antioxidants and a sweet cocoa aroma designed to nourish, protect, and boost healing for any skin type. The gentle exfoliation of natural papaya and pineapple enzymes will effectively polish and prepare the skin.

We then continue to apply the oxygen Rx mask. Cotton thread will be twisted and used to remove several hairs on the forehead, eyebrows, cheeks, chin, upper lip and neck. Eyebrow mapping is included to shape and remove hairs creating the ideal shape for your face. Since hairs are removed from the root, your hair will become finer over time.  

Full Face Threading 

Your Medical Esthetician will use special thread to map your brows based on your preferences, and facial features to give you the desired shape. Once you are satisfied with the consultation and mapping of your brows, then we will begin the hair removal. Several hairs will be removed using a cotton thread. Since hairs are removed directly from the root then hairs will gradually become finer over time. 

Eyebrow Threading 

A cotton thread will be twisted to remove several hairs at a time resulting in finer hairs re-growing over a period of time. 

Choose one (1) area to be threaded. $8/area

Madero translates to "wood" in Spanish. This type of massage is linked to traditional massage from Columbia. It is not designed to be painful, or manipulate the musculoskeletal or spinal structure. 

Wood Therapy works by applying various wooden tools, such as rollers, cups, & sculpting instruments to stimulate areas of the body. The tools are manipulated in patterns & techniques to enhance blood circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, & mobilize fat cells. The combination of pressure, friction, & targeted movements help reshape the body, & reduce the appearance of cellulite. 



Wood Therapy 

The origins of hot stone therapy can be traced back to over 2,000 years ago, when the Chinese used heated stones as a means of improving the function of internal organs.

Hot stone therapy is a massage in which the medical esthetician uses smooth, flat, heated basalt stones that are positioned along your spine, in the palms of your hands, along your legs and between the toes. Typically from river beds, basalt stones are used for massage as they have a rich iron content that retains heat. Basalt stones are  used in the treatment to help aid with detoxing and healing the body.

Your medical esthetician will place the warm stones on key acupressure points on your body. The stones warm and relax your muscles, allowing deeper pressure to be applied during your massage.
