Swedish massage is the use of five basic strokes which generally begin broad and with a light pressure, building up to client tolerance. Massage therapy has proven beneficial for many chronic conditions such as lower back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, immunity suppression, infertility, smoking cessation, depression and more.  However many millions will attest that massage also helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living and our busy lives.

In this treatment I apply soft-tissue manipulation techniques to the body, generally intended to reduce stress and fatigue whilst improving circulation. The many variations of massage account for several different techniques.

30 mins - Express - A relaxing facial treatment, designed to help remove the stress of the day while deeply cleansing and hydrating the skin.
60 minutes - Luxury - As above but with additional products and a soothing face mask used to increase your results and a relaxing hand and arm massage
90 minutes - Signature - The ultimate facial treatment with all of the above, PLUS a hand and arm massage, PLUS an Indian head massage for added relaxation and tension release AND a free product to take home to enhance results and continue your facial experience.

All products used are Vegan, nut and allergy free.

Facials

Microneedling is minimally invasive and uses small, sterile needles to prick the very surface of the skin (about fingernail deep) to work in a serum allowing deeper penetration of the product for brighter, tighter and a more ‘plumped’ appearance.  The treatment generates new collagen by utilising the body’s natural defences for smoother, firmer and more toned skin, and can reduce the appearance of acne, scars, dark spots, wrinkles and large pores. 

It is not painful but I use a topical numbing cream to aid comfort.

It is safe for most people; but not those with current acne infections, taking some acne medications and those with moderate/severe psoriasis or eczema.

If popping in for a patch test is difficult why not order a postal patch test. Fully accredited service.  I will post vials of products you need to test along with instruction of what to do.  There is a small charge for this which you will be required to pay at your main appointment, however the convenience cannot be argued with!!

Postal Patch Test

Chemical Peels remove damaged skin cells to improve the appearance and feel of the skin. Used to treat wrinkles, fine lines, sun damage, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, redness and melasma. Peels are exceptionally safe but essential advice must be followed. I only use light peels therefore downtime is limited to 2-3 days for most people.

You must NOT use any type of retinol or retin-A creams for at least 48 hours OR have taken Accutane for six months before treatment. Stop waxing, epilating, using hair removal products, facial scrubs and exfoliants for 1 week before.

A course of 5-6 treatments are often recommended with at least 4 weeks in between for longer lasting and the best results. 

1hr - Luxury - Full peel treatment.
90 mins - Signature - As above with added dermaplaning AND a free product takeaway enhance results.

Chemical Peel 

Used to remove the very top layers of skin and small vellus (fuzzy) hairs by exfoliating the skin with a blade (also helps to remove black/whiteheads). It is a low-risk procedure with little to no downtime afterwards. It is effective in making skin appear more youthful, smooth and bright. Results typically last about 3-4 weeks. The hair DOES NOT grow back any differently to normal!

This treatment can be combined with any other to enhance results as after dermaplaning your skin is able to deeply absorb further products and maintain its moisture and hydration more easily. 

This is a great treatment to have prior to a big event as make up can be applied much easier, will sit much smoother and will last longer.

Dermaplaning

LED Light Therapy is a treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light to treat a variety of skin conditions. It is a safe, non invasive way to treat the skin by encourage its own natural healing process.  Different wavelengths stimulate enzyme reactions that have a different effect on the skin, and the light works to energies cells in the skin to produce collagen, improve elasticity, increase blood circulation and oxygen flow.

Its great for treating redness, acne, scarring, large pores and the appearance of thread veins.

Recommended to have a course of 10 treatments over 10 weeks, followed by once every few months for the best results.

Add LED to any treatment for added benefits and results. All treatments include a relaxing hand and arm massage. 

LED Light Therapy Facial

Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure used to renew overall skin tone and texture. It improves the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring and other skin-related concerns and conditions. I use a special pen with an abrasive surface to gently remove the top layer of skin revealing the younger skin underneath. It is a safe procedure for most skin types.  Please avoid sun exposure, tanning creams, and waxing for about a week before and stop using exfoliating creams and masks 3 days prior to treatment.

You can see noticeable results immediately afterwards and the number of sessions needed will depend on the severity of your skin concerns as well as expectations.
