It causes general discomfort through the face, jaw, mouth or head, can be a cause of headaches, migraines and increased sinus issues or can be a result of grinding/clenching your teeth.

It can be assessed through palpation, your subjective history and any noise (clicking/grinding etc).

This treatment involves a 20 minute deep tissue neck and shoulder massage in prone, before lying supine for a 25 minute further neck massage, gentle facial massage and optional Intra-oral massage (cheek muscles and a deep lying muscle at the back of your jaw); this is done with gloves on.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE

An injury assessment includes a full consultation as well as range of motion testing, muscle and special tests of area causing you struggles. This may also include testing of other areas. 

This is the perfect appointment for any sports person or non-sports person experiencing ongoing or sudden pain through daily activity or their chosen sport. 

Please fill out online forms before your appointment, specifically informing me of your main concerns so I can have the correct paperwork.

Once consultation and testing has been carried out, 30 minutes of the most appropriate treatment will be done or a referral will be made. 

Injury Assessment + Treatment Plan

INJURY ASSESSMENT

Dry cupping is a historic, yet ever growing in popularity, therapeutic technique often now combined with sports massage in order to promote a faster recovery. Dry cupping acts as a vacuum force, pulling the skin upwards and decompressing the tissue below (opposite to a massage).
It can help with many chronic conditions and relieve pain by assisting with the reduction of tension & toxins in the area, as well as improving blood flow (therefore promoting recovery).

SILICONE CUPS USED

Cupping can be added to any massage treatment for an extra £5. Please book together or let me know on the day.

Dry Cupping

DRY CUPPING

This is necessary for all clients who haven't used Kinesiology tape before. Please book 3-5 days before your application booking. 

Remove immediately if there is any reaction and seek medical advice if needed; please also let me know to cancel your booking, or try a different brand of tape.

Kinesiology Taping + Adhesive Spray PATCH TEST

Please also book a FREE 5 minute patch testing appointment 3-5 days before you'd like me to apply the K-tape to ensure you have no allergies to tape used. If you would like it to participate in a sport/event, let me know and we will also patch test the adhesive spray.

This appointment will allow me to see why you think you need it, and what I think will benefit you most.

I will carry out a short consultation with you first before we go ahead with the taping. 

Kinesiology tape can stay on for 3-5 days- Adhesive spray can be used for those participating in sport.

Depending on where your pain is or where you’re struggling, I will work with you to decide the best method of taping. Additional £3.50 per area if more than one needed.

This can be done out in the park (anywhere in East Sussex) or in Whittfit Gym; outside will involve ball work too, bookings at the gy6m will be more strength and conditioning/speed based work.
