If it has been more than twelve months’ since your last visit and you need a reassessment or if you have a lot going on and need more time for us to get through everything.

Double appointment 

For people who have not been seen at the clinic before.  we will need to discuss your reason for visiting, relevant past medical history and current medications.  The physical exam looks at how you move, muscle strength and reflex testing, palpation and appropriate orthopaedic tests.  At this point you will be given my clinical impression and in most cases treatment may begin.  Occasionally onward referral is required.

Working deep into the muscle groups even the most stubborn and tight muscles will let go. This massage is ideal if you have a stubborn problem that stretching just won’t release. There is generally enough time to massage the whole body as well as focussed attention to the area of concern.

Extended Deep Tissue Massage

This 45 minute long relaxing treatment of the body works gently but deeply to release tissue tension and break up adhesions within the various muscle groups.It is great for tight and fatigued muscles and done regularly helps to maintain fibre elasticity.

Did you know that massage therapy is proven to boost blood circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, better sleep and helps the body move into the rest and repair state all with a healthy dose of relaxation.

Swedish Remedial Massage

Often described as the ultimate spa massage, the hot basalt and cool marble stones work to revitalise and refresh the muscles and soft tissues whilst being extremely relaxing.
The heat quickly penetrates deep within the muscle layers without the discomfort often associated with sports type massage, the cool marble used in a timely way to reduce areas of inflammation.

This massage is not suitable for pregnant people.
