A toner is a hair product used to adjust or enhance the colour of dyed hair, particularly after lightening treatments like highlights or balayage. It neutralises unwanted brassy, yellow, or orange tones and refines the overall colour, adding cool, warm, or neutral hues for a more polished and vibrant finish. Toners help achieve the desired shade while improving the hair's shine and smoothness.

A full head colour is when hair is dyed in a uniform shade from roots to ends. It creates a consistent, even look throughout the hair, transforming the entire head with a new colour. This approach is often used for a complete change or to refresh an existing colour.

Full Head Colour with a Blowdry

A root touch-up is a hair colouring technique that focuses on applying dye to the regrowth or roots of the hair, typically to cover up natural colour or gray hair that has emerged since the last full colour application. It helps maintain a consistent shade from roots to ends without re-dyeing the entire head, usually done every 4-6 weeks depending on hair growth and colour contrast. This method keeps the hair looking fresh and avoids noticeable lines of demarcation between the old and new colour.

Root Touch Up with a Blowdry

A bleach root touch-up is a hair treatment that focuses on lightening the regrowth at the roots to match previously bleached hair. This process ensures a seamless blend between the new growth and the existing bleached hair, maintaining a consistent lightened look without needing to bleach the entire head.

A technique where highlights are applied throughout the entire head, covering both the top layers and the underneath sections. Using a freehand painting method, the stylist creates a seamless blend between the natural hair colour and the lighter tones, resulting in a sun-kissed, multi-dimensional look. This technique provides a more noticeable transformation compared to a half head balayage, offering an all-over brightening effect with soft, natural transitions.

Full Head Balayage with a Blowdry

This will  involve applying colour to specific sections of the hair, usually around the  face or crown, rather than the entire head. This technique adds dimension and brightness in targeted areas, creating a subtle, natural look with less overall lightening than full highlights.

Partial Highlights with a Blowdry

This is a technique where highlights are applied to only the top layer and sides of the hair, typically from the ear level upwards. This creates a sun-kissed, natural look with added dimension and brightness without fully saturating the entire head with highlights.

Half Head Highlights with a Blowdry

This involves applying highlights to the top and sides of the hair, while colouring the rest of the hair with a solid base or background colour. This technique adds dimension and contrast, blending lighter highlights with a deeper base colour for a rich, multidimensional look.
