This is a low fee service provided for people living with cancer in the Blue Mountains community. This is a psychological support service. Pregnancy Massage is offered to women from 12 weeks onwards. Therapeutic techniques are applied to the mothers body while she is comfortably positioned on the massage table in a side lying position. Techniques are adjusted and applied as the mother's pregnant body changes throughout each trimester. Some benefits of pregnancy massage:
- Relief of lower back, shoulder and neck discomfort
- Relief of sacral iliac pain and hip discomfort
- Reduce fluid retention, leg cramps and varicose veins
- Reduce tension headaches
- Improve quality of sleep
- Quality  nurturing time for mother & baby
- Calming the Nervous System
May include resourcing the mother with information on birth preparation & perineal massage. Referrals to  a midwife, GP or Obstetrician where necessary.

Post Natal Massage is also offered to mothers 4-6 weeks after birth. These treatments provide postural re-alignment of the lower back after pregnancy & birth. Relief of shoulder discomfort from breast feeding.

Pregnancy Massage

Relaxation Massage for women is the ultimate calming & nurturing style of massage treatment. A range of Swedish massage techniques to transport you to an inner calm, relaxed and nurturing space. A relaxation massage includes hand and forearm techniques to calm your body & mind. No deeper work is applied when a client wants to focus on relaxation massage. A range of essential oils are applied in the session & Aroma diffusers to enhance your relaxation & rejuvenation. 
I am also a Psychotherapist and understand how stress and trauma can affect our bodies. Clients who have experienced high stress, burnout or may have PTSD can also benefit greatly from a relaxation massage.
