During the first session of acupuncture, you will typically have a detailed consultation where we are going to discuss your medical history, current health concerns, and any specific symptoms or conditions you want to address. 
I am going to ask questions about your lifestyle, diet, sleep patterns, stress levels, and overall well-being to get a comprehensive understanding of your health.

After the consultation, I  will examine your tongue and feel your pulse, as these are important diagnostic tools in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) used to assess the state of your body's energy (Qi) and overall health.

Once the assessment is complete, you will be asked to lie down on a comfortable treatment table. I will use sterile, thin needles and insert them into specific acupuncture points on your body. The locations of these points are determined based on your individual condition and TCM principles.
