Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet. This is done using thumb, finger, and hand massage techniques with or without the use of oil or lotion.  Reflexology helps put the body into a state of relaxation, encouraging the body to heal itself.  Reflexology is suitable for all ages, but it is not a substitute for medical intervention and any medical conditions a client has must first be diagnosed by a GP.  As a Reflexologist, I cannot claim that Reflexology can cure an illness and I cannot prescribe or diagnose, but I do believe it is a great way to re-balance, relax and restore mind, body and spirit, holistically.
