No needles. Adapted from traditional Chinese medicine, white jade or bian gua sha tools lift, tone and sculpt the skin and facial muscles to achieve a plumped and vibrant complexion. Gua sha can also encourage lymphatic drainage, boost collagen production, and help sculpt jawlines and cheekbones.

Gua sha facial 

Experience the rejuvenating benefits of facial acupuncture, designed to revitalise skin's appearance while harmonising the body and mind. 
This advanced facial treatment uses acupuncture to stimulate collagen production, smooth fine lines, release tension and improve skin's firmness and texture. 
The treatment involves the gentle insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific acupoints on the face, head and ears. During a cosmetic acupuncture treatment, a couple of other points on the body are also needled to ground the treatment, avoid energy congestion in the face and boost your overall energy flow and glow. 
Complemented by LED light therapy, the treatment further amplifies its healing effects. The treatment also includes a mini facial massage with cupping, gua sha and finishing products.

(The 90 minute treatment allows extra time to insert further needles (multiple, tiny intradermals) to any areas of particular concern, or to have a longer cupping and gua sha facial massage).

Acupuncture

Microneedling is based on the same Chinese medicine principles as acupuncture. It involves the insertion of very fine, sterile needles into the skin which move qi and blood and stimulate facial meridians.

Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling resurfaces the skin by causing controlled, micro traumas which stimulate the body's natural wound healing process. This increases collagen and elastin, promoting fresh cell nutrients and skin renewal in abundance. The result is firmer, rejuvenated and completely transformed skin.

Most clients notice a difference after their first treatment, but a course of 3-6 treatments is recommended for optimal results. Each treatment should be spaced 4 weeks apart and 7 days prior to an event.  

The shorter treatment is for microneedling only with 15mins under the LED. The longer treatment is more bespoke and includes the option of facial massage (including gua sha and cupping) and cosmetic acupuncture with 30mins under the LED.

LED (Dermalux) light therapy is a safe and effective treatment for a variety of skin complaints in which different wavelengths of light penetrate the skin to varying depths. It effectively improves skin health, rejuvenates cells, stimulates collagen production, reduces inflammation, fades pigmentation and scarring, and can kill acne-causing bacteria on the skin’s surface. 

Combine an LED light session with acupuncture to target skin and body simultaneously and get the most out of your slot. Or, book an LED session on its own for maintenance and relaxation. 

• Please note that the 20 minute treatment is to be booked as an add-on only!
• The 40 minute session includes a cleanse and finishing products + 30 minutes under the LED.

LED (Dermalux) light therapy is a safe and effective treatment for a variety of skin complaints in which different wavelengths of light penetrate the skin to varying depths. It effectively improves skin health, rejuvenates cells, stimulates collagen production, reduces inflammation, fades pigmentation and scarring, and can kill acne-causing bacteria on the skin’s surface. Combine an LED light session with acupuncture to target skin and body simultaneously and get the most out of your slot. Or, book an LED session on its own for maintenance and relaxation. Longer sessions can include a double cleanse, facial massage and finishing products.

Cupping involves placing round, glass suction cups on your body with a vacuum effect, creating inverted pressure on the muscles. Cupping has been used as a healing practice for centuries. Benefits of this relaxing treatment include improved blood circulation and immunity, detoxification and relief from muscle tension and pain. Cupping is not painful, but you will feel a pulling sensation on the skin. Suction causes the skin and superficial muscle layer to be drawn into the cup. Please note that the cups can leave marks on your skin for a few days after the treatment.

Cupping massage 

Gently scraping the skin with a rounded tool to stimulate circulation and treat muscle pain or tenderness. A relaxing treatment which can be used all over the body including the neck and face. I apply a small amount of oil and apply pressure, directed by you. This can then raise small, red, rash like dots at the surface of the skin. These marks are not painful and clear within a few days. They're a good indicator that stagnation is clearing. 

Gua sha massage 

Tiny 24k gold or Swarovski crystal ear 'seeds' positioned on acupuncture points in the ear to serve as tiny acupressure devices. They're fixed in place with hypo-allergenic tape, and resemble small piercings. You can wear your ear seeds for 1-2 weeks and massage them as self-treatment. Often used for stress relief, sleep aid, and alongside fertility treatment.
