Dermal filler dissolve and refill is a two-step cosmetic procedure designed to correct and refresh previous filler treatments. First, hyaluronidase, an enzyme, is injected into the treated area to dissolve unwanted or overfilled hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. Once the old filler has broken down (usually within 24-48 hours), the area can be refilled 2 weeks later with fresh dermal filler to restore volume, enhance facial contours, or improve symmetry. The refill allows for a more precise, balanced, and natural-looking result. Recovery time is minimal, with little to no downtime.
