My speciality is supporting people through relationship challenges as well as the loss of loved ones, providing a safe space to express your feelings, explore the impact it is having on you and help you find a pathway to healing and peace.

I came looking for someone I can trust to help understand the grief from the sudden passing of my mother. The session was very supportive and I felt comfortable sharing. Definitely recommend for anyone going through the same journey. 

I was very happy with this session. I have been working to move past a relationship breakdown that happened a few years ago and Annabelle has given me a helpful perspective. I feel a lot lighter and for the first time feel like I am looking forward rather than backwards.

As a professional counsellor I help you work through your challenges and either reduce conflict and repair what is damaged, or help you find peace in separation. My approach is heart centred, listening to your thoughts, feelings and physical symptoms. I create a safe space to dig deeper to understand their origin and impact, balancing your body, mind and heart to find peace and perspective.

I don’t take sides or ‘prescribe’ a course of action.  My role is to help you better understand the deeper causes of the challenge and give you practical tools to take away. 

I can support you with current or past relationships.

- Understanding your role in the situation
- Providing tools for reconnection, or separation as the case may be
- Finding the peace and energy to move on

A couple session may be to help repair a fractured relationship between the two attendees. 

Like individual counselling, I can help you work through your challenges and either reduce conflict and repair what is damaged, or help you find peace in separation.

Relationship Counselling

Losing a loved one is one of life’s great challenges.

Finding your way in what seems like a new life can be overwhelming. It can bring about feelings of confusion, anger and shock, as well as anxiety, sleeplessness and more. Grief requires a conscious effort to move past and, without proper processing, it can lead to long term trauma. 

I can help you make sense of this moment and find a way forward to peace and happiness, working with you to first arrange your thoughts, unpack your feelings then move consciously through the trauma. 

I can support you with recent or old unresolved grief and at whatever stage of the grieving process you are at.

Steps may include:
- Sharing memories of your loved one in a safe space 
- Taking the time to fully reflect
- Making sense of the experience and how it is affecting your life
- Providing tools for coping and way to live with the loss in peace
- Establishing rituals to continue to honour your loved one

Sometimes we have shared grief, especially when there is loss of a loved one. Or you may wish to bring a support person to be part of your individual grief journey. 

Two person sessions help you both make sense of loss and find a way forward to peace and happiness.

- Taking the time to fully reflect
- Making sense of the experience and how it is affecting your life
- Providing tools for coping and way to live with the loss in peace
- Establishing rituals to continue to honour your loved one
