Our introductory call is a chance for us to briefly connect and see if working together feels like a good fit. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you (or you both) to therapy, and I’ll share a bit about how I work. There’s no pressure to go into detail—this is simply a space to ask any questions you may have and get a sense of whether you'd like to move forward with a full assessment session.

Introductory Call for Individual or Couples Therapy

During our first session, we’ll begin by going through the therapy contract and privacy policy together, ensuring you feel informed and comfortable. 

The rest of the session is dedicated to getting to know you—what’s been happening in your life, how it’s been affecting you, and what has brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your childhood, family, relationships, career, and significant life events to help build a fuller picture of your world and experiences. 

This lays the foundation for our work together and helps me understand how best to support you.

Initial Assessment Session for Individuals

In our first session together, we’ll begin by reviewing the therapy contract and privacy policy so that both of you feel clear and comfortable with the process. 

We’ll then spend time exploring what’s brought you to couples therapy, including what’s been happening in your relationship and how it’s impacting each of you. I’ll ask questions about your individual backgrounds—such as childhood, family, and key life experiences—as well as your relationship history, patterns of communication, and any significant events. 

This helps me understand your dynamic and how best to support you moving forward.

This is a short, informal call to explore what you're looking for from coaching and to see if we're a good fit. We’ll talk about the areas you’d like support with, whether that’s personal growth, career direction, relationships, or something else, and I’ll explain how I work as a coach. You’re welcome to ask any questions, and there’s no pressure to decide anything on the spot.
