Hi! I am a board certified Physician Assistant . I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and Union College of Nebraska. I was born and raised in Spalding Nebraska. How does Zerona work?
Through clinical studies it has been demonstrated that the Zerona’s 635nm low level laser is absorbed by the mitochondria and stimulates the fat cell to emulsify (liquefy) the fat within the cell. Then, the liquefied fat moves from inside the cell, through a temporary pore formed in the cell membrane, to outside the cell where it is in the interstitial space until absorbed by the lymphatic system. This is where immune cells called macrophages release liposomal acid lipase to breakdown the triglycerides into small enough glycerol and free fatty acids picked up by the blood stream and oxidized. Millions of fat cells becoming smaller so inches are reduced off the arms, waist, hips and thighs. The fat cells are not injured in any way by this process.

The treatment is absolutely safe. It can be performed on almost all skin types. It is virtually painless. You will also get rid of enlarged pores with this treatment.

What are the side effects of hydradermabrasion?

 Takes just 30 minutes or less, some redness may occur. This is often the only side effect of a HydraFacial and is typically mild and resolves quickly on its own. If desired, patients can apply makeup after HydraFacial treatment to conceal any redness.
What are the benefits and cons of HydraFacial?
But what are the true pros and cons of hydrafacial therapy? This treatment will give you temporarily smoother, plumper, and pinker skin! One of the cons of microneedling however, is that on its own, the results will not last. This treatment also has a larger risk of scarring and infection occurring.
Who should not use HydraFacial?
The HydraFacial is appropriate for all skin types.

Hydro-Dermabrasion

Dermabrasion is a skin-resurfacing procedure that uses a rapidly rotating device to sand the outer layers of skin. Immediately after dermabrasion, treated skin will be reddish and swollen. The skin that grows back is usually smoother.
