~What is the Sound Lounge?

The Sound Lounge is a specially designed table that you lay on that uses sound frequency music, which causes vibration in the table, to instantly soothe your mind and relax your entire body. By delivering powerful sound through four built in tactile transducers, two amplifiers, and HD noise reduction head phones, the Sound Lounge provides an immersive audio sensory experience that will leave you feeling calm and relaxed.

~Who should NOT use the Sound Lounge?

Any one with a pacemaker, very low blood pressure, recent blood clots, Epilepsy, or any one who is pregnant or trying to get pregnant.

While the Sound Lounge is a wonderful way to relax and slow your mind before or after your massage, it is also available as a stand alone service by calling the office to schedule. 989-763-0229.

Vibroacoustic Therapy on the Sound Lounge

This is for the people with the really tight backs! A layer of Organic Castor Oil is first applied, then a wet/hot towel, then a heating pad on top for 15-20 minutes. It’s a wonderful way to help soften muscles before your massage work and I have been told by a few people that they feel like the effects of their massage lasts longer. Castor Oil is also great for inflammation, while the heat is quite relaxing as well!
