*If you have any history of fever blisters, cold sores (even if it has been years ago), shingles or chickenpox, it is recommended that you call your primary care provider for antiviral medications and to take prior to and after your appointment. Take it as prescribed by your pcp. Any active cold sores will require a reschedule. This is important because if these instructions are not followed or if information is withheld, you may end up with fever blister outbreaks during the healing period.*
