This is a procedure which involves withdrawing a small amount of the patients own blood.  It is processed by centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) blood. 

The platelet-rich-plasma is injected to face, neck or hands, where the platelets release their growth factors.  These stimulate the cells around the injection site plumping them up, stimulate collagen production and volume.  The PRP helps reduces lines and wrinkles, creating a fresher, more youthful look.


Results 

It will take a few weeks for the results of PRP.  
The maximum effect of PRP lasts 6 months approximately, but results can continue to last for up to 2 years.  Downtime 0-2 days approx.

The reason for the 4 treatments every four weeks is because your hair growth has a four stage cycle and sometimes, certain areas can be in different stages. 

That's why it's necessary to treat the scalp every month for four months. 

Maintenance treatments are then required every 4–6 months.

Step 1:
Your blood is drawn — typically from your arm — and put into a centrifuge (a machine that spins rapidly to separate fluids of different densities).

Step 2:
After about 10 minutes in the centrifuge, your blood will have separated into in three layers:

Step 3:
