The feet are soaked in warm water to soften the skin and nails. This is followed by exfoliation of the feet to remove dead skin cells and calluses. The pedicurist may trim and shape the toenails, clean and push back the cuticles. It also includes a foot mask and a gentle foot massage to relax the muscles and improve circulation.

Acrylic nails are made with a powder that is dipped in monomer which is used to lengthen the nails and provide a stronger top layer over your natural nails.
