Its stability is superior to other ascorbic acid derivatives. Ethyl ascorbic acid is metabolised by the body as pure vitamin C, thus retaining all of the proven antioxidant benefits of vitamin C, including protection from UV exposure, free radicals and other environmental aggressors.
